Biographies:Edit

Bat-Hulk:Edit

He is voiced by Diedrich Bader.

On one fateful Christmas day, a family of three left their favorite movie theater in Gotham City's Park Row. The couple's son, Bruce, is disenchanted by their movie choice, "The Mask of Zorro." Previously, he didn't get the right toy he wanted for Christmas. Dr. Wayne, disappointed he couldn't make his son happy, decides it is time to go home. They take a wrong turn into an unlit alleyway. A desperate man with a gun demands the group's valuables. A scuffle follows. Within seconds, Dr. Thomas and Martha Wayne are dead. Their son, Bruce Wayne has forever had his childhood stolen from him.

He became obsessed with the pursuit of justice and created a plan for the rest of his life. Once old enough, Bruce Wayne traveled the world and honed his body and mind to the highest physical peak. Along the way, he studied every known science including criminology, forensics, chemistry and psychology. Wayne trained under manhunters and martial arts masters and in time, became an unrivaled master, himself.

Years later, Bruce Wayne returned to Gotham City. He took on what most critics called a figurehead position as joint CEO in Wayne Enterprises, as he maintained a public image of a billionaire playboy. One day, Wayne investigated a den of bats on his property and discovered a system of caverns that stretched beyond his 150 acre estate into most of Gotham. He converted the caverns into his alter-ego's base of operations, complete with state of the art technology pinched secretly from Wayne Enterprises Research and Development. Chemistry and forensics lab, a high-tech computer database, a secret driveway, dock and shrines decorated the cave. Wayne then created a suitable identity for himself. It was something to use the darkness as a weapon, to strike fear in the hearts of criminals, Batman.

The Riddler, Joker and Penguin team up together to commit a series of crimes to draw out Batman. While investigating, he falls into a trap. Batman is exposed to a chemical created by the Joker and it causes Batman to periodically change into a creature named "Bat-Hulk." Bat-Hulk is more larger and muscular than Batman.

Batman of 800,000 A.D.:Edit

In one of many parallel universes, Batman was transformed by an evolution ray of a deceased Kryptonian scientist's machine. He was hyper-evolved into what a human would be in the year 800,000 A.D., with mental attributes that are considered super powers in the modern age. When recruited by another Batman to fight Owlman, Batman of 800,000 A.D. matched wits with the Brain. When Plastic Man momentarily distracted Brain, Batman applied the finishing telepathic blow.

Batman (Bat-Manga):Edit

He is voiced by Corey Burton.

Among the multiverse, on one fateful day, a family of three left their favorite movie theater in Gotham City. It is time to go home. They take a wrong turn into an unlit alleyway. In one universe known as Bat-Manga, the world of Batman is slightly more Asian in influence. However, Batman still garnered a bizarre Rogue's Gallery that includes Professor Gorilla, an intelligence stealing gorilla obsessed with killing humans, Governor Warner, a mutant that wishes to also eradicate the human race, and Lord Death Man, a living dead man. Despite an initial setback, Batman always adapts and devises counter-measures that win the battle.

Batman (Batman & Robin):Edit

He is voiced by George Clooney.

This Batman comes from a universe where he wears a Batsuit designed with molded muscles and nipples into the armor. It is believed Batman was inspired by ancient Greco statues, which are known to display perfect bodies. Bat-Mite finds this version, "Too icky."

Batman Beyond (Terry McGinnis):Edit

He is voiced by Will Friedle.

Amanda Waller concluded that the world needed a superhero named Batman. She used her contacts to head Project Batman Beyond. After a rigorous profile search, Waller found a suitable psychological match with Bruce Wayne's parents. They were a young Neo Gotham couple, Warren and Mary McGinnis. Under the facade of a routine physical, Warren McGinnis was injected with a nanotech payload that rewrote his genetic material with Bruce Wayne's. Soon after, the McGinnis' had their first son, Terry. At age eight, Waller planned to reinact Wayne's tragedy and have the McGinnis parents assassinated. Phantasm, her contract killer, refused to complete the hit and argued that Batman would never resort to murder, no matter what.

Terry McGinnis went on to live happily for a few more years. He appeared to have bonded with his father more than his mother. One of McGinnis' memories was trips to the Wildlife Waystation. However, when McGinnis was 14, his parents went through a divorce. Angry and confused, he went off with his friend Charlie Bigelow and ended up being dragged into a heist. It was prevented by the police. While Bigelow downplayed McGinnis' involvement and went to prison, McGinnis was tried as a minor and served 90 days in juvenile hall. He left with a clean record but a lingering guilt. Into his teenage years, McGinnis attended Hamilton High School with his girlfriend, Dana Tan.

One fateful night, McGinnis got into an argument with his father over school and left the house to go out with Tan. Behind the scenes, Warren McGinnis had found out that his employer, Derek Powers was selling biological weapons to foreign countries illegally. He was slain and the murder was covered up by Powers but not before he was able to hide the only evidence, a CD, in one of the family portraits. Meanwhile, McGinnis got into an altercation with a gang of Jokerz, runaway punks modeled after the late psychopathic murderer, the Joker. He led them on a high speed chase that ended on the Wayne Estate. McGinnis had a chane encounter with the elderly Bruce Wayne and chased off the Jokerz.

However, Wayne was tired easily and relied on McGinnis to get him back to his manor and give him his heart medication. Instead of leaving afterwards, McGinnis was curious and looked around only to stumble upon the Batcave. Wayne cast him out. McGinnis arrived home to swarms of police and his mother and ran into see his dead father. While unpacking his belongings at his mother's apartment, McGinnis found the CD. McGinnis went to Wayne for help, and when it seemed Wayne was going to turn it over to the police, whom McGinnis had difficulty trusting, he took matters into his own hands and stole Wayne's second Batsuit to confront Powers.

McGinnis earned Wayne's trust and took up a job as his part-time assistant. After time, he felt he earned the mantle of Batman. Putting his own life on hold, McGinnis patrols Gotham City as Batman. Along the way, he has come up against new and old villains alike, including Mr. Freeze, a comatose Bane, Ma Mayhem, the Royal Flush Gang, Ra's al Ghul and the Joker.

The Batsuit McGinnis wears is a technological wonder equipped with neuro-muscular amplification, rocket propulsion boots, fingertip microphones, Batarangs shot out from the wrist and later, camoflauge, making it the ultimate utility belt. Over the years, the suit was damaged and rebuilt better than the previous version. The last known addition to the suit was new circuitry that gave the ability to produce an electric charge from either the belt or hands.

After a couple years, McGinnis was asked by Superman to join the Justice League Unlimited. After accepting, he learned he was recruited to find a spy within the League. Batman was beside himself to investigate people he considered heroes his entire life. Events transpired that revealed Superman was being controlled by an alien starfish, whom he saved decades ago. Single-handedly, McGinnis was able to save the League and prevent Starro from taking over the Earth. He declined the offer to be a full-time member and returned to Neo Gotham. Over the years, McGinnis' membership was kept ambiguous much like his mentor's and he participated in many missions with the JLU. While the League was on a mission to Alpha Centauri and Gear was performing a secret mission, Static was kidnapped by a Dakota cell of Kobra. Unexpectedly, Batman found himself teamed up with a younger, timelost Static to lead the rescue. Impatient with this Static's inexperience, Batman came to realize the similarities with the one he knew.

In his early 30's, McGinnis discovered he was the son of Bruce Wayne. Wayne had suffered kidney failure and needed a donor match. McGinnis was a perfect match. The chances for that are 111:1. He tracked down Amanda Waller and learned she had rewritten Warren McGinnis' DNA without telling Wayne. McGinnis felt like everything he knew was stolen from him in an instant, however, Waller told him otherwise. Despite everything that happened, McGinnis still could live his life by his own choices. He ultimately decided to continue being Batman and planned to propose to his long-time girlfriend, Dana Tan.

Batman (Superfriends):Edit

He is voiced by Frank Welker.

In a parallel universe, there exists a Batman who is a member of the Justice League of America or "Superfriends." The core five were Superman, Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, and Aquaman. As time went on, more members and teenage sidekicks were added on. Peaceful and reasonable discussion were often the case to solve the problems at hand rather than violence. Batman and Robin even did a series of Public Service Announcements to spread this message including on escaping from sharks.

The Batman:Edit

He is voiced by Rino Romano.

On one fateful Christmas day, a family of three left their favorite movie theater in Gotham City's Park Row after watching "The Cloaked Rider." The couple's son, Bruce, is riveted by the movie. They take a wrong turn into an unlit alleyway. A desperate man, Joe Chill, with a gun demands the group's valuables. A scuffle follows. Within seconds, Dr. Thomas and Martha Wayne are dead. Their son, Bruce Wayne has forever had his childhood stolen from him. Chill was never convicted of the murder.

While waiting at the Gotham Police Department headquarters, Wayne clutched his mother's pearl necklace and waited to be picked up by the family butler, Alfred Pennyworth. Pennyworth vowed to never leave his side again. Pennyworth and family friend, Lucius Fox, tried their best to raise Wayne and make him feel like a child again. An airshow is their fondest memory. Enrolled in middle school, he met his best friend Ethan Bennett and shared an interest in basketball. However, Wayne became obsessed with the pursuit of justice and created a mission for the rest of his life, a deep rooted need to rescue.

The only confirmed region in the Far East that Wayne trained was in Tibet with Buddhist monks. There he learned meditation and honed his mental defenses. Wayne embraced the Eastern mind over matter and the scientific method of the West.

Years later, Bruce Wayne returned to Gotham City. He took on what most critics called a figurehead position as joint CEO in Wayne Enterprises. Many were leary of associating with Wayne Industries because of his lack of a public image. While thinking about his promise, a bat flew through the window in his study. After exploring his property, Wayne found a den of bats on his property and discovered a system of caverns that stretched beyond his 150 acre estate into most of Gotham. He converted the caverns into a secret base of operations, complete with state of the art technology pinched secretly from Wayne Industries. Chemistry and forensics lab, a high-tech computer database, a secret driveway, dock and shrines decorated the cave. Lucius Fox helped him construct the cave.

Wayne then created a suitable identity for himself. It was something to use the darkness as a weapon, to strike fear in the hearts of criminals, The Batman. At 23 years old, just before his October birthday, Wayne started his mission as Gotham's Dark Knight. As a precaution, Batman also constructed two other base of operations around Gotham. One was even built underneath WayneTech, the technology arm of Wayne Industries. In addition, to be more mobile and able to travel around the city with ease, he constructed spider holes all over that fed in one way or another to the Batcave. He also crafted several entrances to the Batcave from the Wayne Mansion. A grandfather clock and an arcade are two ways. While Wayne prefers the automated fire pole, Pennyworth takes the elevator.

Armed with various vehicles modeled after the Bat and a utility belt armed with tools and weapons, the Batman began his war on crime by shutting down every operation of Gotham's various crime lords. Batman integrated receivers into his costume and vehicles with his Batwave, a wireless database. It also monitors his vital system and if anything dips too low, preprogrammed emergency measures are activated. His cowl even houses optic scanners that look at various spectrums including ultraviolet and infrared. Three years later, crime dropped to a nationwide low and the Batman was an urban folk hero. Pennyworth became concerned that Wayne's constant absence would warrant investigation. At his behest, Wayne became a champion of social causes. He donated to the local concert hall, organized several children's charity fundraisers, hosted police gala's, is on various Board of Trustees such as Arkham Asylum, and aids crime victims. While Batman was the Dark Knight, Wayne was Gotham's White Knight.

However, the three year anniversary brought a new challenge to the Batman's mission. A new criminal fringe of costumed super villains began to emerge. Some were inspired by the Batman, others created by the Batman, and others who simply wanted to get rich quick. The Joker was his first such opponent. After six months, another opponent became apparent: Gotham Police Chief Angel Rojas. Rojas saw the Batman as the root problem and attracted villains to Gotham like moths to a flame. However, many in the force began to trust the vigilante from Detective Bennett and Yin to eventually the Police Commissioner, James Gordon.

After the tragedy at Haley's Circus, Bruce Wayne offered to adopt the orphaned Dick Grayson as his ward. Grayson was angry at himself for not trying harder to stop his parents' deaths. Then, he was discovered the Batcave. Batman revealed his secret identity to the shocked Grayson. Batman saw a kindred spirit in Grayson and offered him a partnership. After swearing an oath of justice, Grayson became Robin and together, they became the Dynamic Duo. Together with Batgirl, a new family was born. The Batman was often blinded by his fear of losing both Robin and Batgirl and forebade them from patrolling without his presence.

Over the years, Batman ventured outside of Gotham to face more supervillains side by side his allies. Batman joined the super hero group, the Justice League, after being invited by the Martian Manhunter. Batman integrated his Batwave technology into the Justice League Satellite, a space-based headquarters, dedicated to not repeating the nightmare of the Joining invasion. As a failsafe, Batman envisioned a doomsday scenerio where all of his allies were under the control of his enemies. He analyzed his allies and devised methods to defeat them. The file was kept on the Bat Computer in the Batcave.

In the year 2027, Wayne is war torn and still active as the Batman despite being in his 50's. The mission mattered more than his own health. At the Gotham Airport, Batman and Robin, now Nightwing, confronted Mr. Freeze. Taking into account that the Batman would always be needed, Batman hid binary code that activate his data files all over the Batcave's titanium reinforcements. Sure enough, in 3027, the Gotham Police Department found the cave in search of a way to defeat Freeze. After containing the villain, the force refurbished and upgraded the Batcave as a base of operations.

Batman (The New Scooby-Doo Movies):Edit

He is voiced by Frank Welker.

Among the multiverse, on one fateful day, a family of three left their favorite movie theater in Gotham City. It is time to go home. They take a wrong turn into an unlit alleyway. A desperate man with a gun demands the group's valuables. A scuffle follows. Within seconds, Dr. Thomas and Martha Wayne are dead. Their son, Bruce Wayne has forever had his childhood stolen from him.

In the The New Scooby-Doo Movies universe, the often mis-colored Batman and Robin were on the trail of the Joker and Penguin. They arrived at a music hall and saved Mystery Incorporated from a giant deathtrap. Bat-Mite altered the rules of the universe, allowing Batman, Robin, Scooby-Doo, and Shaggy Rogers to fight hand to hand. After recovering a gangster's stolen money, Batman assured Weird Al Yankovic that Bruce Wayne would help him fund a new Hall of Fame dedicated to Polka and Novelty Songs.

Batman (Timmverse):Edit

He is voiced by Kevin Conroy.

A family of three left their favorite movie theater in Gotham City's Park Row. The couple's son mimics a scene from "The Mask of Zorro". They take a wrong turn into an unlit alleyway. A desperate man with a gun demands the group's valuables. A scuffle follows. Within seconds, Dr. Thomas and Martha Wayne are dead. Their son, Bruce Wayne has forever had his childhood stolen from him. Bruce became obsessed with avenging his parents' murder and created a plan for the rest of his life.

He trained in Jiu Jutsu in Kurahawa, Japan under Yoru. Beforehand, Wayne traveled somewhere in Europe (possibly Turkey) or even in America, with the famous stage magician, Zatara. Zatara passed on his escape arts onto the young man. Wayne also trained in martial arts and possibly other subjects under the Master in Nanda Parbat.

Years later, Bruce Wayne returned to Gotham City. He took on what most critics called a figurehead position as joint CEO in Wayne Enterprises, as he maintained a public image of a billionaire playboy. All the while, he stalked the night as a nameless vigilante. He struggled to win every fight, intent on trying to find a way to strike fear from the start. While visiting his parents' grave, Wayne encountered Andrea Beaumont. The two fell in love but Wayne was conflicted with love and his promise. He couldn't make any attachments and maintain a straight course in his never ending crusade. Wayne decided to propose to Beaumont. In that moment, a swarm of bats awakened from below and flew past the couple, leaving them in a state of fear. Beaumont's father was a businessman embezzling from the mob. Soon, he was forced to flee the States, with daughter in tow. Wayne was emotionally crushed but moved on.

Wayne investigated the den of bats and discovered a system of caverns that stretched beyond his 150 acre estate into most of Gotham.

In the early years, Batman was aided by his confidante, Alfred Pennyworth. He soon became the ward of an orphan named Dick Grayson. At age nine, Grayson was the first of Batman's partners. Originally an aerial performer, Grayson was personally trained by Batman and soon donned a costume of his own, Robin. Batman also befriended Gotham City's Police Commissioner James Gordon. Though Gordon didn't approve of Batman's methods, he recognized that Gotham would need all the help it could manage as the city began to witness the advent of bizarre monstrosities and murderous psychopaths in addition to the corrupting force of organized crime already present. Going on 10 years, Batman met another ally, Batgirl, who was actually James Gordon's daughter, Barbara.

In approximately Year 13, Batman and Robin parted ways. Dick Grayson longed to establish his own identity in the world and questioned Batman's plan. The last straw was when he learned that Batman had long deduced Batgirl's identity and never told him. For about three years, Grayson traveled the world in a manner similar to Wayne. Meanwhile, Batman fully endorsed Batgirl into the fold and took in another orphan, Tim Drake. Drake was the son of a small time crook that betrayed his employer, Two-Face. The trio became embroiled in Two-Face's latest blackmail scheme. Despite Batman's orders, Drake interfered and donned one of Grayson's earlier Robin costumes. Batman decided to allow Drake to become the next Robin and began to train him. Grayson returned to Gotham with a new identity, Nightwing. The four maintained a partnership and patrolled Gotham for several more years.

After Superman was brainwashed and unleashed on Earth by Darkseid, Batman was checking on a security anomaly at a Wayne Tech Satellite Observation Station outside of Metropolis. Instead, he encountered sleeper agents of a race of planet conquerors led by the Imperium. After being aided by Superman, Batman and the other people of Earth witnessed a full scale invasion. Batman followed Superman to a secret military facility and released the last Martian J'onn Jonzz, whom was held prisoner and was telepathically reaching out to super heroes. The three were joined by the Flash, Green Lantern John Stewart, Hawkgirl and Wonder Woman. The group was able to prevent the invasion's success. Batman, however, was still concerned with the likelihood of another alien invasion. Using funds and technology from Wayne Enterprises, Batman managed to secretly construct and launch a Watchtower into orbit around the Earth. It would serve as a space station to monitor deep space activity and act as a pre-emptive strike. The seven super heroes later formed the Justice League. Batman maintained he would stay on as a part time member.

While on the League, Batman went on to lay witness to may ordeals alien to any other denizen of Gotham City, the lost city of Atlantis, Greek myths come to life, a hidden city of technologically advanced apes, the New Gods, a nano-technological marvel called AMAZO, a millennia old dictator, an alternate reality or two and saving the space-time continuum, to name a few. Batman went onto be known as one of the founding fathers in the light of the expanded Justice League Unlimited. Though the founder's circle was often viewed as mutually exclusive, Batman recognized the importance of other members such as Green Arrow or the Question.

Some time later, when Amanda Waller was the official US military liaison to the JLU, Batman and Shayera Hol led a small unit to fight the second Royal Flush Gang. Waller arrived and warned the League that the Gang's founder, Ace was going to die of an aneurysm and the resulting psychic backlash would kill everyone within several miles. Batman accepted a device that would safely kill her. Batman ventured forward and confronted Ace, alone. However, Batman had no intention of using it. Ace found solace with Batman because he was the only person, she'd known that never feared her and later realized they were kindred spirits. Both had their lives stolen when they were children. Batman promised to stay by her side until she died and convinced her to undo the things she altered with her mind.

During, right before or after Batman resigned from the JLU, he went through a final battle that ultimately decided the fate of his partners in Gotham City. Dick Grayson had long left Gotham to establish himself in another city, Bludhaven. Tim Drake, Robin, one night, was on patrol by himself. He thought he was saving a woman from two hoodlums. Instead, Drake fell into a trap laid by the Joker. For three weeks, Batman and Batgirl searched every lead to no avail. Then, the Joker left a jack-in-the-box prop that revealed his location at the former Arkham Asylum. Batman and Batgirl discovered that the Joker had systematically tortured Drake and molded him into a crude replica of himself. In the process, Joker learned Batman's secrets. In the aftermath, Batman lay beaten but the Joker didn't completely succeed in turning Drake. Drake resisted and killed the Joker.

Joker was buried beneath Arkham, to which the only other person who knew was Commissioner Gordon. Dr. Leslie Thompkins was entrusted to help Drake. After a year, she succeeded. However, Batman blamed himself for allowing such a thing to happen and forbade Drake from being Robin anymore. Drake angrily struck out on his own. He attempted to repair his relationship with Batman, but with his inability and refusal to share his true feelings, Drake was frustrated and eventually retired.

For a time, it was just Batman and Batgirl. From Batgirl's point of view, their partnership was an ideal and romanticized one. The truth was probably somewhat skewed. But Batman has had fondness for her and several women over the years, Zatanna, Talia, Andrea Beaumont and Selina Kyle. In any case, Batgirl also eventually frustrated with Batman's outward insensitivity as Nightwing and Robin did and resigned.

Despite the tumultuous relationships, Batman managed to still prevent an epic global catastrophe initiated by one of his enemies, Ra's al Ghul. In what was later called the Near Apocalypse of '09, Batman won his final battle against Ra's al Ghul and saved the world. Parts of the world were still devastated. In time, they were restored by Ra's' daughter, Talia.

In the meantime, either due to ailing health and an effort to redouble his efforts, Batman devised and created a new Batsuit that would effectively turn him into a walking utility belt. However, the prototype version had an ill effect of straining his heart. 30 years later, with the final suit, Batman broke up a blackmail ring that kidnapped Gotham socialite, Bunny Vreeland. Batman suffered a heart attack and resorted to picking up a gun to scare off the last thug. Horrified, Wayne gave up and resigned as Batman. In that time, the financial cutthroat, Derek Powers of Powers Technology finally succeeded in a hostile takeover of Wayne Enterprises. Wayne no longer had the stride to fight it and became reduced to a mere presence among the Board of Trustees.

20 years later, a young teenager named Terry McGinnis while on the run from a gang of Jokerz, trespassed on Wayne's estate. After the scuffle, McGinnis helped Wayne get to his medication. McGinnis then encountered Wayne's dog, Ace whom he saved recently while visiting Crime Alley on the anniversary of his parents' deaths. McGinnis went into Wayne's study and discovered the entrance to the Bat Cave. Wayne woke up and chased him off. McGinnis later discovered his father left him incriminating evidence against Powers. He returned to Wayne who refused to do anything but refer him to the authorities, to which McGinnis didn't trust because of his own past. After he escaped an encounter with Powers, McGinnis stole Wayne's Bat Suit and infiltrated the Wayne-Powers compound. McGinnis convinced Wayne to let him avenge his father's murder.

Wayne hired McGinnis as a part time assistant while he mentored McGinnis as the new Batman. Together they fought resurgence in costumed criminals and metahumans like Inque, Spellbinder, Stalker and Shriek. Wayne eventually retook his position atop Wayne Enterprises and witnessed his pupil defeat old enemies. Wayne also mended fences with his former allies, Tim Drake and Barbara Gordon.

15 years later, Wayne suffered a kidney failure and needed a transplant to survive. Surprisingly, Terry McGinnis was an exact match. The chances were nearly improbable. McGinnis then discovered he was a genetic match, technically Wayne's son. Decades ago, Amanda Waller came to realize the world needed a Batman. She had some field agents collect blood samples and synthesized a DNA payload with nanotechnology. After rigorous profiling, the McGinnis couple was chosen. Whether Wayne knew or not, Warren McGinnis was injected and had his DNA overwritten with Wayne's. Though hiding his care like with his former allies, McGinnis eventually came to accept Wayne and continued on the legacy of Batman.

On Earth 18, a group of extraordinary individuals are recruited to be marshals called the Justice Riders. They are assigned to tame the Wild West of the 19th century. Bruce Wayne was just a traveling repairman who sold his services in the Wild West. He would often encounter mysteries to be solved and donned the costume of Nighthawk. Unlike a cowboy of the time, he refuses to use a gun out of memory for his parents' murders. Instead, he uses a lasso and Batarangs.

On one day, a family of three left their favorite movie theater in Gotham City's Park Row.

With advanced technology from this company, Wayne created an advanced battle suit that could emit blinding light and allow him to levitate.
