Sgt. Rock is one of the supporting protagonists in Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
He is voiced by Fred Tataciore.
Frank Rock enlisted in the U.S. Army the day after the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor in December 1941 and was assigned to the European theater of war. Private Rock distinguished himself after D-Day in 1944 at the Battle of Three Stripes Hill. Rock received a battlefield promotion to sergeant and led his unit, Easy Company, one of the most distinguished fighting units during World War II.
On D-Day, Rock and Easy Company were assisted by Batman and G.I. Robot. Held down by a concrete bunker, Rock ordered G.I. to take it down. However, after the robot's valiant sacrifice, a moment of silence was observed. Even Rock shed a tear for his fallen comrade. Afterward, Rock pressed Easy Company forward to take down the Axis Powers and liberate France.
